His handsome face has been needle and scissor sculpted, his eyes are black glass, he has hand shading for an all over aged and loved look. His embroidered jet black nose has been waxed to match his waxed claws which compliment his black velvet cashmere paw pads. He has been filled with wood wool and steel shot in his body and paws for a lovely heavy cuddly weight.
Captain Rathbone Tolly rules the sea’s with shivering intimidation ….This fearsome pirate bear wears a classical hand made cocked hat created from black velvet stiffened and lined cotton with a turquoise pure silk hand loom dupion lining, it is trimmed with gold braid, large hot pink and bright green ostrich feathers and a pirates flag motif. His bandana is hand dyed pure silk hand torn variated purple. Around his neck he wears a hand made ivory tulle ruff. Captain Rathbone Tolly’s gorgeous waistcoat trimmed with gold royal crown buttons is hand made from danger warning black and yellow cotton lined with pale yellow hand loom pure silk dupion, the back is emerald hand loom pure silk dupion…Has anyone seen Tolly’s little one legged parrot? Around his waist he wears a black real leather hide belt which buckles at the back, the front of his belt is trimmed with a large metal pirate skull buckle. The Captains stunning full length hand made rustic cavalry boots are created from wine real leather with dark wine real leather fold over tops they have polished leather soles (made by a traditional cobbler) decorated with black skull and cross bones and are laced up at the back with black pure silk ribbons.
